We are a family that loves fresh fruit and vegetables. The kids like to pick out an adventure food when we get groceries or go the the farmer's market. This summer John picked out purple potatoes at the farmer's market. We thought they would be purple skinned and then white or yellow on the inside. Nope, bright purple all the way through. They tasted just like a regular potato, maybe just a bit sweeter. I baked them in the oven with just a bit of olive oil and salt and pepper. I thought they were very good. Everybody tried them, but Ian liked them the best.
